Welcome to 2/3A Website. Here you will find important information about school activities, upcoming events, 2/3A field trips and homework. I look forward to a fantastic year with our 2/3A students.
Welcome to the 2018/2019 school year. I am excited to start this journey with your children! I would like to refer to our class as a combined grade. We have 19 students: ten grade 2 students and nine grade 3 students. I would like the students to feel the spirit of one community even though they are from 2 different grades. I truly believe that to have a successful year we need to blend the grade 2 and 3 learning outcomes but keep appropriate expectations for each grade level. To achieve this goal, I will strive to plan a variety of group projects to address these outcomes, however, at one point both grades will work together either to introduce new or review old concept
- The first bell rings at 8:22 and instruction starts at 8:25. Please help your child to be on time. If they are in the hallway when prayer is being said, they need to stop until a prayer is finished before proceeding to their classroom. We ask that parents do this too. School ends at 3:00 pm , with early dismissal on Thursday at 12:00.
Students must line up at their outside door before school.
At the end of the day, you will meet your child by their classroom, but please wait for the bell in the foyer to meet them.
We will keep you informed of field trips as much in advance as we can. Please send permission slips and pay on line by the specified due date. Thank you.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help us with our skating field trips that will start on September 28th.
We need parents to assist us with getting the skates to the rink, helping with tying them up and bringing them back to the school after the trip. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this.
